Martina Quinn is Executive Assistant & Office Manager at GoCrisis Head Office in the UK. She joined GoCrisis in January 2019.
Prior to joining GoCrisis, Martina has 40 plus years’ experience working for FTSE 100 organisations operating in the sectors of finance, management consultancy, pharmaceutical, medical devices, hospitals and electronics.
As part of her early career in Ireland, she had a key role in the start up of a US medical devices company who were looking for a European manufacturing base. They were persuaded to set up in the West of Ireland due to its talent pool, educated workforce, location and tax benefits. This company started with two employees and has now expanded to employ 3,500 members of staff. It has also expanded its manufacturing plants to other areas in Ireland. This, she feels, was one of her most rewarding and challenging roles.
After moving from Ireland, she gained more experience in the City of London, which culminated in a supervisory role within a multinational organisation in the management consultancy field. She also worked for several years in the health sector in Saudi Arabia, which was a cultural and educational experience.
Martina’s passion is to do a good job, be part of a team, provide worthwhile input into the success of an organisation. She is a stickler for detail, accuracy and producing high quality output for the benefit of her employers.
Outside of the working environment, Martina has been a volunteer with the Samaritans, is a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Mental Health First Aider. She is also an ex professional singer. Her raison d’etre is her family, which is extensive.
