Thank you to Mr Sun Jianfeng, President of Hainan Airlines for hosting a successful training day in which Elmarie Marais and Elizabeth Flaherty talked to the executive team about Family Assistance and Crisis Communications. It was a great honour to work with an energetic leadership team that gave their full dedication to the training and demonstrated strong commitment to their airline’s readiness to respond.

During the training, there was cause for celebration as reports hit world news that Hainan Airlines’ parent company HNA Group is to take an equity stake in Virgin Australia as part of a new commercial alliance. This brought to light the value of GoCrisis having Chinese GoResponders to support our clients who service the Chinese markets inside and outside of China.

Hainan Airlines Company Limited (HNA) is headquartered in Haikou, Hainan. It is the largest privately-owned air transport company in the People’s Republic of China. It operates scheduled domestic and international services on 500 routes. Hainan Airlines is rated a world five-star airline.
